One week to departure

Things are falling into place after months ... years of planning for this trip.  The house sitter has signed the agreement, the tickets are bought, finances in order, passports, riding gear, and the list goes on...  Tonight I am going to call my cousin in San Diego and make arrangements for a visit.  We also plan to meet with a security consultant in San Diego to discuss travel safety.  We appreciate everyone's wise warnings and will take the all cautions necessary to ensure our safe return.
